Horse Sense
A Mutual Deep Embrace
Groups and Individual Sessions

According to The Heart Math Institute, our own heart energy field radiates up to 8-10 feet. Horses’ range is 5 times larger. Their coherent (consistent) heart rate variability has been found to have positive effects on our own mental-emotional balance. Their field literally influences physiology, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and neurotransmitters.

Perfect Partners.
We feel good around horses! We thought it was just because of the other obvious things we love about them, but this gift of balance between physical power and fragility, and healing intelligence makes them wonderful partners for self discovery and harmonization. And it is mutually beneficial… the more whole heartedly present we are with them, the more they are able to balance and find their own agency in the world. We know they seem to be a contradictory blend of prey and power, descended from generations of their own circumstances that need healing at this time. We are all in this together and moving on from old ways.

A Sensory Dive With Horses

Like humans, horses feel best with good boundaries and different horses can teach us much about our boundaries, our emotions and patterns. So when working with them we pay attention to their body language from our own embodied awareness to the best of our current ability. Each session is different sprung from the arising of a Source healing field combined with guided embodied awareness through our senses. I offer healing circles with and without Sound Healing where we simply allow ourselves to align with what personally arises; awakening to our personal intuitive gifts; boundaries (bubbles) and more.

This is an exploration of how embodied sensing can provide a conscious practice for greater connection to oneself and others as we partner with a horse.

Sensually Centered Grooming for Horse Owners

This is a dynamic practice that is fun but can also present some basic partnership challenges. I work with some basic considerations with my own horses. So if/when we have a horse that is less than on board, we explore that from a relationship perspective, How do we creatively partner up for mutual benefit without holding onto an agenda attached to our expectation of the ‘task’? We let the task be the conversation from an embodied place, allowing for our own vulnerabilities and patterns to arise within Source. Every scenario presents an opportunity.
