Animal Touch
Well being for All Other Pets

Mutual support is inherent. Source takes it where it needs to go.

For you and your beloved pet… I love them all and yet I think cats may be in my DNA!
So, there are three ways I work and no matter what option you choose it’s a mutually beneficial (win-win). In relationship with your beloved animal as observer, facilitator, or surrogate, you are in a Source field that will invite your system to whatever it might need. Our nervous systems are in communication with them, so this is a shift into how we can both be in balance.

In person:
1) A touch session - Touch includes hands off for anyone that needs the space for whatever reason. We always meet in complete agreement because this is fundamental to all relationship and goes far in mutual trust. Your pet knows what it needs and at what pace.

In person or remotely (phone or zoom):
2) My guidance for you to facilitate as my surrogate - A partnership in healing - this started over the phone in support of a friend who needed quick relief for her dog. I simply guided her where and how to touch him. I was so focused on her dog that it was only later that I wondered how that would’ve supported her as well. Since then I’ve come to see how Source actually supports both owner and pet.
3) My guidance for you toward your own intuitive capability - A partnership enhancing your healing abilities For those who are interested, this is a beautiful option for a deep level of intimacy with your pet. It’s not everyone’s desire or even their thing, but when it feels right to do it, you know it.

How a Dog finally got my attention.
Other than horses, it never occurred to me that small animals would also be part of my healing touch practice. It had always been right in front of me, but I worked mostly with people and then horses. Despite a series of events and years of encountering people with pets in need of support, I’d always ask them if they’d like some ideas and promptly refer them to others. One day I was on the side street of my horses’ farm and ran into someone struggling to walk their dog. As usual, I stopped to chat and found out he’d always loved the scenic walk but two weeks earlier had encountered an electric fence at a friend’s horse farm. Now when they approached this part of their path (that was bordered by two horse farms) the dog wanted to turn around. As usual I asked if they’d like to try some options I could refer them to for trauma release (‘yes’). Then suddenly it dawned on me that maybe I was the person meant to help them. With the owner’s permission to ‘try something’ I took the leash and began to give the pup nurturing touch while gradually moving toward the fence. The dog began to make shifts as I asked the owner for feedback on what they saw in the tail movement. Over the course of about 3-5 minutes it went from anxious to relaxed. I then looked up to see a horse on the other side of our small side street who had appeared and had her eyes on us. There was no doubt she was beckoning. We walked over to her fence line, she horse dropped her head, touched nose to nose and then 3 dogs came around the corner of the fence. We then watched the playful, carefree dog romp, run and explore with the others. As if on cue, human, horse and dog had shown up as a team to help this doggie reclaim his peace and joy. I bump into them from time to time and her doggie is very happy on his walks!

Balance for well being.
For any animal that isn’t ready for physical touch or have specific places of protection, hands off is perfect. Honestly, by just tuning into the wholeness of Source brings about shifts and new possibilities. It’s about supporting them so they may to discover their own sense of balance in the world. Generally speaking, as a team we provide::

o Healing space for a specific incident or experience, behavior, relationship or environmental associations.

o General well-being and quality of life regardless of exhibited or known physical, mental or emotional status.

It is important to check with your trusted health care practitioner with any concerns you have about your animal. I do not directly address medical or nutritional concerns because I am not a health care professional. As a healer my intention and practice is to bring focus to your animal’s innate healing capability (wholeness), which is a self-balancing mechanism, not medical or health care.

Additionally, as an owner you know that environment is also essential to well being. Source Touch can support your animal in any situation, but does not guarantee an override of environmental stressors. It also does not guarantee a desired specific result or outcome. I listen without answers, which provides you with a beautiful opportunity to observe and make choices that you think or feel are right and sometimes that can take time.
